Happy Wednesday, gang! As you know, we're taking a summer break from FB Lives and will be re-posting some old faves with some new ideas instead. This week we've brought back Mala With Tassel. We love making malas, don't you?
Below are some ideas for new color ways...I've used 6mm Stone Rounds for the bulk of the Mala, added rondelles and our new Lava Beads to make the stations, and selected Gurus, C-Lon, and combinations of Vintage Finds with tassels or charms. I really like the idea of keeping the bulk of these stone, something natural. I also really liked playing with size, as some of the rondelles are tiny 4mms intended to sit on either side of the 8mm Lava Beads...these were fun to put together! Enjoy!

Free Tip Friday: Vintage Inspired Carrier Bead Cuff
Another Free Tip Friday in the books. This design was inspired by the vintage feeling of the carrier beads and my love of cuffs created in the vintage style using memory wire.
I used the following supples in my design:
- 4mm Persian Turquoise Picasso
- Carrier Bead- Olive Bronze
- Falling Brass Leaf Charm
- Memory Wire Copper 2 1/4'. If you have smaller wrists, you may want to size down to the 2" memory wire.
- Zap Glue
- Memory Wire Cutters
You can change up the design by alternating the colors of the Carrier Beads and 4mm Fire Polish.
Check out the video below for all the details on creating your own. Enjoy and I can't wait to see what you make!
